Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 until 2019she was the artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer/musician/text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. Though generally leading from within the group of actors, in her final year she made her first appearance as a director (and the lighting design) with the SSC's King Lear.
