Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread popularity in the first decade of the 21st century. Swift started to exhibit an desire to work in the music industry at a young age. The trajectory of her career was rapid through the play of kids to her first public appearance in crowds of people. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game when she was 11, she was already creating songs. In the following year, she started playing the guitar. Taking her inspiration from country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original music that was a reflection of her experience of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she turned 13 to devote more time to contacting country labels.
